It was our distinct pleasure to host the 2017 Dominion Leasing Software User Conference, held May 7-9, 2017, at the Williamsburg Lodge in Williamsburg, Virginia.
Venue: The Williamsburg Lodge is a relaxing hotel escape in the heart of the Revolutionary City. The lodge is just steps from the Colonial Williamsburg Historic District, which has the distinction of being the only living museum of Colonial American History. Attendees enjoyed colonial shops, activities, tradespeople, and eateries, each staffed by actors clad in period costumes and rich in colonial custom. The lodge itself bridges the gap between historic appeal and modern comforts, boasting a world-class restaurant and recreation including a relaxing full-service spa and local golf courses.

Overlooking the hotel grounds, this event was a wonderful opportunity to greet new attendees and reconnect with old friends. Joining us this evening was none other than Thomas Jefferson himself, who spoke to attendees about life during this time in Williamsburg (then the Capital of Virginia). After entertaining all questions presented by those in attendance, Mr. Jefferson stayed for one-on-one conversations and even posed with attendees for pictures before departing back to the Governor’s Mansion for the evening.

Kingsmill is also a place steeped in honored traditions and genuine Southern hospitality. When the first English foot was placed in Virginia, it was on these grounds that once served as a central part of the area’s plantation life in the 1600s through 1800s. Today, Kingsmill Resort is known for its scenic beauty and challenging golf courses. The River Course has hosted the world’s best golf players from both the PGA and LPGA, and is currently the home of the LPGA Championship. The upgrade planning session provided an insight into the process of migrating from LeaseComplete Version 4 to Version 5. The Version 4.18 sessions focused on expanding attendees’ knowledge of the system they currently use. The “New Features” session focused on the one-hundred plus new features rolled out in the 2015 update release of the System. An overview of Quoting and Prospect Tracking shed light on this powerful system feature, introducing new ways it could be incorporated into existing lease/loan workflows. The User Conference also offered a 4-hour introduction to writing reports for LeaseComplete using Crystal Reports, empowering our clients to maximize the potential of the system to meet customized reporting needs in their organizations.
